Welcome to Historic Sauk City
Welcome to our past!
Sauk City Historic Preservation Committee Mission:
To educate the public, both young and old, in the rich and unique history that is Sauk City, thereby fostering a civic pride in our past achievements;
To work with homeowners of historically significant properties for designation as historic sites;
To preserve and safeguard our heritage by advising the Sauk City Village Board and Planning Committee of the important significance and contribution of buildings and sites in our community;
To demonstrate through living history events how life was lived;
And to provide a resource for the community with photos and workshops on the repair and restoration techniques on their historic older homes.
